
Michelob ULTRA® to become the Championship’s Official Beer
JACKSON, Miss. (August 19, 2019)—The Sanderson Farms Championship is excited to announce that Jackson-based Southern Beverage Company, distributor of Michelob ULTRA, has joined the 2019 PGA TOUR event as the official sponsor of The ULTRA Club on the 5th Green. The Sanderson Farms Championship will be held at The Country Club of Jackson, September 16-22, 2019.
The 5thGreen is a new location for concessions area and open to the public. Michelob ULTRA will be the Official Beer of the Sanderson Farms Championship.
“We are thrilled to have Southern Beverages and Michelob ULTRA sponsor The ULTRA Club now on the 5th Green,” said Steve Jent, the tournament’s executive director. “The ULTRA Club will have beer and non-alcoholic beverages, along with light snacks available for purchase. Along with Michelob ULTRA we’ll be serving other Southern Beverage Company beers in all concessions and at parties/events during the week. We greatly appreciate the Costas family joining us in our charitable giving endeavors.”
Since 1994, Century Club Charities has served as the host organization for the event, made a charitable impact of $2.235 million in 2018 alone for Mississippi charities. Now in its 52nd year, Mississippi’s largest professional sporting event has raised over $15 million for charity, primarily Friends of Children’s Hospital, a non-profit organization created to support Batson Children’s Hospital, part of Children’s of Mississippi.
