JACKSON, Miss. (October 22, 2015) — The Sanderson Farms Championship is pleased to announce that D Play will headline a concert at this year’s tournament. The concert will be held on Saturday, November 7, on the Country Club Lawn immediately following the end of play.

D Play is an energetic coverband based out of New Orleans. Over the past decade, the band has entertained crowds across the region. “We added a concert as part of the tournement weekend last year, and it was a huge success,” said Steve Jent, Executive Director. “It’s a perfect way for people to celebrate a great day of play and keep the fun going into the evening.”

Admission is free for individuals who attend the tournament on Saturday. No separate concert tickets will be sold. Individuals interested in attending the concert must
purchase a $25 tournament ticket, available now at sandersonfarmschampionship.com and Edwin Watts Golf on County Line Road. Tickets will also be available at Will Call during tournament week. All ticket proceeds will go to Friends of Children’s Hospital, the fundraising arm of Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.

Additional events at this year’s Sanderson Farms Championship include a Military Outpost to honor active military, reserve and veterans, a Kids Zone located near the 18th green and Football Fan Day on Saturday, where guests are encouraged to dress to support their favorite football team.

The 48th Sanderson Farms Championship is set for November 2 – 8, 2015, at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Miss.
