BankPlus Returns as Sanderson Farms Championship Fan Pavilion Sponsor

JACKSON, Miss. (August 31, 2016) The Sanderson Farms Championship is pleased to announce BankPlus has recommitted as sponsor of the BankPlus Fan Pavilion and the BankPlus Junior Pro-Am.

The BankPlus Fan Pavilion is a shared hospitality venue on the 12th green with a tiered viewing deck overlooking Hole #13. Accessible to guests with an upgraded ticket, the open-air setting offers premium concessions and a cash bar, as well as large-screen TVs.

Single-day tickets to the Fan Pavilion are available for $40. Weekly ticket packages are $90 and are available online, at Will Call during tournament week, or as an upgrade onsite. All proceeds from the venue will go to Friends of Children’s Hospital.

The BankPlus Junior Pro-Am will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, on the Cypress course at The Country Club of Jackson. The Pro-Am will be a nine-hole event where junior amateurs have the opportunity to play alongside a PGA TOUR professional. The 49th Sanderson Farms Championship is set for October 24-30, 2016 at The Country Club of Jackson.

“We are thrilled BankPlus has renewed these sponsorships,” said Steve Jent, executive director of the Sanderson Farms Championship. “The Junior Pro-Am is unique to our PGA TOUR event and recognizes Mississippi’s outstanding junior golfers, and the BankPlus Fan Pavilion allows us to provide an upgraded viewing experience to the general public.”

Bill Ray, CEO of BankPlus, said, “BankPlus is proud to once again partner with Sanderson Farms and Century Club Charities in order to help showcase the largest professional sporting event in Mississippi. We are all extremely excited about the difference this event is making for Mississippi’s only children’s hospital. The BankPlus Junior Pro-Am was a first of its kind on the PGA TOUR. And, the BankPlus Fan Pavilion continues to grow as spectators realize you can’t get any closer to the action from any venue anywhere else on the course.”
